weekend at all churches

On weekends, when a Level 1 or Level 2 Snow Emergency occurs in Butler and/or Hamilton County, the Leadership Team will discuss on a case-by-case basis whether Masses and activities will be cancelled, and the St. John Weekend Parish Office will be closed. Should Butler and/or Hamilton County announce a Level 3 Snow Emergency, all parish activity will be cancelled.

weekday at st. gabriel church

Monday-Friday, St. Gabriel Parish follows Princeton Public Schools’ winter weather schedule. If the Princeton School System is delayed, morning Masses are cancelled, and the Parish Office will open at 10 a.m. If conditions decline, afternoon and evening Masses may also be cancelled. If the Princeton School System is cancelled, all Masses are cancelled, and the Parish Office will be closed for the day. Should conditions improve, evening Masses have the flexibility to still be held.

If either of these school systems is delayed, morning Masses are cancelled, and the Parish Office will open at 10 a.m. If conditions decline, evening Masses may also be cancelled. If the Lakota or Princeton Public School Systems are cancelled, all Masses are cancelled, and the Parish Office will be closed for the day. Should conditions improve, evening Masses have the flexibility to still be held.

faith formation activities

When the Parish Office is closed or delayed due to inclement weather, activities scheduled during those closed or delayed office hours are cancelled. Evening activities will be discussed on a case-by-case basis dependent on the current weather conditions. Groups/Ministries will be notified as to their status by group/ministry leaders. Should Butler and/or Hamilton County announce a Level 3 Snow Emergency, all parish activity will be cancelled.
