Music plays a vital role in the life of our parish, enriching our liturgies and helping to draw hearts closer to God. Whether you love to sing, play an instrument, or are simply curious about becoming more involved, we warmly invite you to explore our parish’s music ministry. There are opportunities for all ages and ability levels—from children just beginning to find their voice, to experienced adult musicians and everyone in between.

With choirs and ensembles for both youth and adults, opportunities for instrumentalists, and upcoming cantor training, there’s a place for everyone to contribute their talents in service of the liturgy. Youth Choir

Our youth choirs offer a joyful and faith-filled environment for children to learn music, build friendships, and serve in worship. Each group is led by Safe-Parish trained adults, and we ask that all families contact the director before attending rehearsals to ensure proper supervision and child safety. Please do not drop off children without confirming that two trained adults will be present.

​*The Candlelight Choir is a smaller ensemble that sings chant in both Latin and English. This group is ideal for those who can read music and are interested in exploring the beauty of traditional liturgical music. The Candlelight Choir rehearses only once a month, typically on the evening of the Mass (often the fourth Tuesday), and meets at St. Gabriel Church. Singers from across our family of parishes are welcome. We are limited to around 15 members due to space constraints. 

Cantors

​Cantors play a special role in leading our congregations in sung prayer. We are currently looking for new cantors at all churches in our parish family. Those interested will need to meet individually with a music director before being scheduled. If you're feeling called to this ministry, we’d love to include you.

instrumentalists

​If you play an instrument and are comfortable reading music, there may be a place for you in one of our ensembles. Most of our groups are happy to include instrumentalists, but we do ask that you contact the director ahead of time so parts can be prepared and arrangements made for rehearsals. Our music directors can help you find the best fit.

HANDBELL CHOIR

This group is open to experienced musicians, high school age or older, from any St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes member. Participants must have basic music reading and rhythm skills, as this group is not for beginners. A simply tryout will be required.
