Returning Our Focus to In-Person Celebration Beginning July 1, our Family of Parishes will no longer offer a livestream of Mass. Livestreaming was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic as a necessary way to stay connected when gathering in person was not possible. We are grateful for the ways it helped many remain united in prayer during that time. As we move forward, we are returning our focus to fully supporting the in-person celebration of the Mass.
Providing a livestream is not only a financial commitment, but also requires the attention of key staff and volunteers whose primary focus should be on the prayerful and reverent celebration of the liturgy itself. After careful consideration, we believe this change allows us to best steward our resources and serve our parish community.
We also take this opportunity to gently remind parishioners that watching Mass online does not fulfill the Sunday obligation. The Church calls us to gather together in person whenever we are able, to receive the Eucharist and to be part of the living community of faith. For those who are truly unable to attend Mass due to illness or other serious reasons, there are still opportunities to participate in a livestreamed Mass. We recommend the Mass offered at the below websites as a way to remain connected.
We look forward to continuing to welcome you in person at Mass, where we encounter Christ most fully in the Eucharist and in one another.
