The Funeral Liturgy is one of the most beautiful and meaningful celebrations of the Church and is almost always celebrated within a Mass. All parishioners are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, as it is a good way to celebrate daily Mass and honor the bodily remains of someone within our parish.
All the baptized are entitled to the full Rite of Christian Burial. We offer the Sacrifice of the Mass for the soul of the deceased in the whole context of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. In addition, we offer special Mass intentions as prayers of intercession and thanksgiving in and through the Eucharist. To offer a Mass for someone who has recently died, please contact the respective parish office of the Mass location.
Are you planning a funeral? Documents to assist you can be found under Resources.
Together, we remember those in our Family of Parishes who have recently died.
