Donations & Collections

Ongoing Needs

MATTHEW 25 PILL BOTTLES
Matthew 25: Ministries accepts donations of empty, clear plastic pill bottles for inclusion in shipments of medical supplies. This program meets two important needs: improving access to medical care in developing countries while also caring for our environment through reuse and recycling. Clean, label-free pill bottles (with all adhesive residue removed) may be donated to any of our parish offices or delivered directly to Matthew 25: Ministries in Blue Ash, Ohio.
ST. VINCENT DEPAUL
St. John and St. Michael Parish regularly host financial collection weekends in support of the important work carried out by each of our St. Vincent de Paul Society chapters. These collections help provide assistance, dignity, and hope to neighbors in need within our local communities. Learn more about the mission and impact of St. Vincent DePaul here.
SHARE-A-LUNCH
St. John Church hosts the Share-a-Lunch collection weekend on the fourth Sunday of each month in support of Reach Out Lakota and St. Francis Seraph Ministries. Donations are accepted in the St. John Pavilion from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Reach Out Lakota provides food and clothing assistance to families living in West Chester and Liberty Townships, while St. Francis Seraph offers anyone in need a safe, dignified place to receive a meal served by compassionate volunteers.
SHARED FOOD SUNDAY
St. Michael Church hosts Shared Food Sunday on the fourth Sunday of each month in support of Mercy Neighborhood Ministries. Donations may be placed on the wire shelves in the Gathering Space. Mercy Neighborhood Ministries works to empower individuals, with a special focus on disadvantaged women and seniors, and these monthly collections help St. Michael Church keep their food pantry well stocked.
SHARONVILLE FOOD PANTRY
St. Michael Church collects non-perishable food items for the Sharonville Food Pantry four times each year. The Sharonville Food Pantry, available through the Sharonville Fire Department, serves individuals and families in need within the community. Donations may be placed on the wire shelves in the Gathering Space during the months of February, May, September, and December.

Special Collections

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES
Your generous donations support the vital work of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), helping fund programs such as the USCCB Office for International Justice and Peace, Migration and Refugee Services, relief efforts of the Holy Father, and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network. Through these ministries, CRS responds to humanitarian crises, advocates for justice, and provides compassionate support to vulnerable communities around the world.
HOLY FATHER'S COLLECTION
Also known as the Peter’s Pence Collection, this collection provides Pope Francis with the resources needed to carry out his charitable works around the world. Proceeds support our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including those affected by war, oppression, and natural disasters.
RESPECT LIFE SUNDAY
This collection is held in October, with all monies forwarded to the Chancery Office and designated for the Respect Life Collection. A small portion of the funds helps sustain Respect Life programs within the Archdiocese, while the remaining balance is designated for Respect Life Grants that support life-affirming ministries and initiatives.
mission sunday
Remembering that we are baptized and sent as a universal Church of Christ on mission, we are invited to pray for the Church’s worldwide missionary work and to offer financial support through the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. These offerings assist vulnerable communities throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands, helping to spread the Gospel, support local churches, and care for those most in need.
human development
More than 46 million people in the United States live in poverty today. This collection supports the work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which funds programs that empower people to identify and address the obstacles they face as they work to create lasting, positive change within their communities.
retirement fund for religious
“You can help. Religious are blessed to serve,” says Dominican Father Bertrand Ebben, age 90. Next week, please consider donating to the Retirement Fund for Religious. Your gift helps provide essential care for nearly 25,000 senior sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who have dedicated their lives to serving others. Let us show our gratitude to these selfless individuals by giving generously.
military services
The mission of Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) is to serve Catholics in the United States Armed Forces, those enrolled in U.S. Military Academies, veterans receiving care at the nation’s 153 Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, federal government employees in civilian roles, and the families of all these populations. Through its priests and deacons, the Military Archdiocese provides pastoral care and sacramental support to approximately 1.8 million Catholics, ensuring the presence of the Church wherever they are called to serve.
bottles for babies
Bottles for Babies is an easy and meaningful way for parishioners to provide direct financial support to the ministry of Life Centers. Donation bottles are distributed and later returned filled with change, cash, or checks. These contributions are used to transform lives and help save babies right here in our community. In addition to fundraising, the Bottles for Babies program also raises awareness about the compassionate, life-affirming work of Life Centers.
christmas & easter flowers
Parishioners are invited to help beautify our churches for the holiday season by contributing toward altar flowers. Donations may be given as a gift or made in memory of a loved one, helping to enhance our worship spaces during this special time of year.
