At St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes, a child’s Baptism is a parish-wide celebration. Parents who bring their children for Baptism accept the life-long responsibility of educating their children in the ways of our faith and exercising their faith through active participation in parish life and regular Mass attendance.

To begin the process, you must be an active parishioner at one of the St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes. If you are not a member, you may request a letter from your current Pastor granting permission to have your child Baptized at St. Gabriel, St. John, or St. Michael Church. If you have been away from the Church and still seek to Baptize your child, we invite you to contact us to discuss options for your family.

A Baptism Preparation Class is required for all first-time parents. These classes are required of all first-time parents and will explain the Baptism ritual and symbols, review qualifications for godparents and suggest methods for passing on the faith to their children. These simple sessions are designed to introduce young families to each other, perhaps embarking on a lifetime of friendship. It is recommended that expectant parents attend prior to the birth of their child if possible.

To register for the class, please complete the form below. Please note that classes are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at St. John in the chapel of the main church building and begin at 7:30 pm.​
